01 — Why this school exists

The courage I carry into the courtroom began on the mat.

I began martial arts at thirteen and earned my black belt at sixteen. Over more than twenty-five years, I have fought in over 500 matches. Today, at thirty-nine, the lessons are still with me: prepare completely, stay calm under pressure, protect people, and keep moving forward.

That discipline shaped every part of my life — including the courage it takes to stand up for people injured in car accidents. Team Karate Attorney is my way of passing those lessons forward to children, adults, and families in Marietta.

Start where you are. Become who you can be.

For children

A structured, encouraging environment where children learn to listen, focus, respond to pressure, protect themselves, and build real confidence through earned progress.

Enrollment begins at age 8. We cannot accept younger children.

ALL

For adults

No previous experience required. Build useful self-defense skills, improve fitness, strengthen your mind, and train alongside people committed to becoming better.

Beginners and experienced martial artists are welcome.
